This new legacy coffee comes from Bioma Cafe in Brazil. Bioma Cafe is a "Cup of Excellence Brazil" winner. Cup of Excellence is a coffee competition that rewards the top 20 coffee growers in a country who have the best tasting coffees. Bioma Cafe is a newer generation coffee producer using a lot of experimentation and technology to produce repeatable high quality coffees. They try to control as much of the growing and producing variables as they can, and use feedback from roasters like us to improve how their customers want them to.

    WE AREN’T CLAIMING TO BE EXPERTS, YET.

    We can’t sit here and preach that we’ve mastered the art of roasting, nor can we say that we know all there is to know about the coffee industry- the truth is, that type of knowledge is achieved over many years of hard work, dedication and constant love for coffee. We are however passionate, daring and eager to soak up every bit of coffee knowledge we can get our hands on, to produce a great, complex, memorable cup of coffee for YOU (and our team of course).

    So we may not be experts yet, but the truth is- this journey wouldn’t be nearly as fun if already were anyway.
