This new installation in our Women of the World Series has a pleasant body with fruity sweetness and nutty complexity.

This coffee is sourced from the São Luiz Estate, run by the Velloso family and established in 1998. Ana Cecilia, the driving force behind the estate, brings her passion for sustainability and her interest in utilizing scientific advancements in the coffee industry into her leadership. She was the first producer in the area to bring in high-tech equipment to increase the quality of the coffee coming out of their estate. She has also ensured that the São Luiz Estate uses efficient water management, soil conservation, and fertilization via composting.

With sustainability and quality in mind, Ana Cecilia is preserving her family’s coffee growing legacy while building on it.

    We can’t sit here and preach that we’ve mastered the art of roasting, nor can we say that we know all there is to know about the coffee industry- the truth is, that type of knowledge is achieved over many years of hard work, dedication and constant love for coffee. We are however passionate, daring and eager to soak up every bit of coffee knowledge we can get our hands on, to produce a great, complex, memorable cup of coffee for YOU (and our team of course).

    So we may not be experts yet, but the truth is- this journey wouldn’t be nearly as fun if already were anyway.
