More than 80% of the farms that contribute are managed or owned by women. The washing stations are managed by Kahawa Link Company, a company that supports sustainable practices through agronomic training and  sustainability programs for farming communities. They also have a focus on empowering women in the area and put this into action by providing scholarships for girls. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis coffee is grown at a high elevation, resulting in a delicate and flavourful cup.
